Apartment San Bartolomé II
Description
Spacious and comfortable apartment located in Santa Cruz neighborhood, the heart of Seville downtown. We are talking about a 2-floors apartment where we can underline a spacious terrace with beautiful sights of the downtown of the city and its more important monuments (Giralda, Cathedral, etc) and also equipped with awning, table and chairs to enjoy the lunch, the breakfast, or the dinner. We can also the 2 bathrooms, the spacious living & sitting rooms or the big bedroom in the top floor with great views of the city.
Apartment San Bartolomé II is located in a rehabilitated house (year 2006) of an old typical Sevillian house of 1867. As you can see in the pictures, the house is right next to San Bartolomé Church; in fact, this house was once part of this church, and was connected with it by a small corridor that doesn’t exist any more…
Its location in Santa Cruz makes the situation of this apartment absolutely wonderful, with all the important monuments very close to the apartment: Cathedral and Giralda, Reales Alcázares, Archive of the Indies, City Hall, Tobacco Factory, Hospital of Santa Caridad, San Bartolomé Church, Pilato’s house, etc.

The vicinity
This apartment is situated in Santa Cruz area, one of the most important Jewish quarter (if not the most important) in Spain. Isolated from the rest of the city by a walled precinct, the prosperous and powerful Jewish community disappeared after the Juderia was ransacked in 1391. In the 16th century, the layout of the Jewish quarter was changed with the construction of convents, corrales, and palaces. In the 20th century, the quarter of Santa Cruz became one of the main tourist sites in the retaining its popular flavour with its typical winding Arabic streets.
Close to the apartment you will find everything you need: laundries, supermarkets, parking, banks, restaurants, bars, parks, etc. (you will find more information about all this in the apartment).
