This is a Renaissance-Mudejar palace, dating from the 16th
century.
It is formed by the typical Sevillian house-palace, with
its central courtyard and the galleries that form it. In
the main courtyard we can admire one of the most beautiful
Roman mosaics found in Itálica, from the 2nd and
3rd centuries as well as a magnificent collection of well
curb stones, tinajas, and archaeological remains of various
periods and cultures.
Equally, the rest of the rooms that compose the ground
floor of this Museum, contain a rich collection of archaeological
remains, only surpassed by the Provincial Archaeological
Museum.
On the top floor we can visit the house of Countess de
Lebrija, with its different rooms: halls, chapel, dining
room, library, etc., as it was lived in by the family. They
contain innumerable art work collections (decorated Spanish
cabinets, paintings, sculptures, carpets, furniture, ceramics,
etc.).
